Shohagi (The Loved One)

Khut began its journey on 15 January 2017 with Shohagi, a handmade clay doll.

Shohagi symbolizes the delicacy of love and relationships. Its form is inspired by the traditional Bangladeshi folk terracotta doll known as Tepa Putul—one of the oldest and simplest representations of women in our country.

Khut began its journey with Shohagi, believing that people would cherish and care for her with the same tenderness they give to love itself. Just as love flourishes through care and attention, Shohagi, too, is meant to be handled with affection and kept with care.
